A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
1- 1 To provide that all vehicles shall be registered and
1- 2 licensed to operate for calendar year 1997 and thereafter in
1- 3 Washington County during the four-month nonstaggered
1- 4 registration period from January 1 through April 30 as
1- 5 provided by general law; to repeal conflicting laws; and for
1- 6 other purposes.
1- 7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION 1.
1- 8 Effective January 1, 1997, the registration period for all
1- 9 vehicles authorized or required to be registered in
1-10 Washington County shall be a four-month nonstaggered
1-11 registration period from January 1 through April 30 of each
1-12 calendar year, and all such vehicles shall be registered and
1-13 licensed to operate for the ensuing calendar year and each
1-14 year thereafter during such period from January 1 through
1-15 April 30 of each calendar year as provided in subparagraph
1-16 (a)(1)(C) of Code Section 40-2-21 of the O.C.G.A.
SECTION 2.
1-17 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
1-18 repealed.
