                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
                               AN ACT


  1- 1  To amend Title 47 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated,
  1- 2  relating to retirement and pensions, so as to provide that
  1- 3  the Employees' Retirement System of Georgia shall administer
  1- 4  the Superior Court Judges Retirement Fund of Georgia, the
  1- 5  Superior Court Judges Retirement System, the District
  1- 6  Attorneys Retirement Fund of Georgia, and the District
  1- 7  Attorneys' Retirement System; to repeal conflicting laws;
  1- 8  and for other purposes.

  1- 9       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

                         SECTION 1.

  1-10  Title 47 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating

  1-12  end of Article 1 of Chapter 8, relating to the creation,
  1-13  administration, and management of the Superior Court Judges
  1-14  Retirement Fund of Georgia, the following:

  1-15    "47-8-6. (Index)

  1-16    The trustees shall contract with the Employees' Retirement
  1-17    System of Georgia for the administration  of the fund."

                         SECTION 2.

  1-18  Said title is further amended by inserting at the end of
  1-19  Article 2 of Chapter 9, relating to the creation,
  1-20  administration, and management of the Superior Court Judges
  1-21  Retirement System, the following:

  1-22    "47-9-27. (Index)

  1-23    The trustees shall contract with the Employees' Retirement
  1-24    System of Georgia for the administration  of the fund."

                         SECTION 3.

  1-25  Said title is further amended by inserting at the end of
  1-26  Article 2 of Chapter 12, relating to the creation,
  1-27  administration, and management of the District Attorneys
  1-28  Retirement Fund of Georgia, the following:

  2- 3    System of Georgia for the administration  of the fund."

                         SECTION 4.

  2- 4  Said title is further amended by inserting at the end of
  2- 5  Article 2 of Chapter 13, relating to the creation,
  2- 6  administration, and management of the District Attorneys'
  2- 7  Retirement System, the following:

  2- 8    "47-13-30. (Index)

  2- 9    The trustees shall contract with the Employees' Retirement
  2-10    System of Georgia for the administration  of the fund."

                         SECTION 5.

  2-11  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
  2-12  repealed.
