                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
                               AN ACT


  1- 1  To amend Code Section 40-5-25 of the Official Code of
  1- 2  Georgia Annotated, relating to applications and fees for
  1- 3  drivers' licenses, so as to lower the fee for Classes C and
  1- 4  M drivers' licenses from $15.00 to $4.50; to provide for
  1- 5  related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
  1- 6  purposes.

  1- 7       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

                         SECTION 1.

  1- 8  Code Section 40-5-25 of the Official Code of Georgia
  1- 9  Annotated, relating to applications and fees for drivers'
  1-10  licenses, is amended by striking paragraph (2) of subsection
  1-11  (a) in its entirety and inserting a new paragraph (2) to
  1-12  read as follows:

  1-13      "(2) For Classes C and M drivers'
  1-14           licenses..............................  15.00 4.50"

                         SECTION 2.

  1-15  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
  1-16  repealed.
