HB 1659 LC 19 2760 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT 1- 1 To amend an Act establishing the "Clayton County Commission 1- 2 on Children and Youth," approved March 30, 1989 (Ga. L. 1- 3 1989, p. 4891), as amended, particularly by an Act approved 1- 4 March 30, 1993 (Ga. L. 1993, p. 4312), so as to change the 1- 5 date of the commission's abolition; to repeal conflicting 1- 6 laws; and for other purposes. 1- 7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: SECTION 1. 1- 8 To amend an Act establishing the "Clayton County Commission 1- 9 on Children and Youth," approved March 30, 1989 (Ga. L. 1-10 1989, p. 4891), as amended, particularly by an Act approved 1-11 March 30, 1993 (Ga. L. 1993, p. 4312), is amended by 1-12 striking Section 7, relating to the abolition of the 1-13 commission, and inserting a new Section 7 to read as 1-14 follows: "SECTION 7. 1-15 The commission shall stand abolished on July 1, 1999." SECTION 2. 1-16 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are 1-17 repealed. -1- (Index)
