                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
                               AN ACT


  1- 1  To amend an Act relating to the Board of Commissioners of
  1- 2  Calhoun County, approved August 10, 1908 (Ga. L. 1908, p.
  1- 3  276), as amended, so as to change the compensation of the
  1- 4  chairman and members of the board of commissioners; to
  1- 5  repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

  1- 6       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

                         SECTION 1.

  1- 7  An Act relating to the Board of Commissioners of Calhoun
  1- 8  County, approved August 10, 1908 (Ga. L. 1908, p. 276), as
  1- 9  amended, is amended by striking Section 10 and inserting in
  1-10  lieu thereof a new Section 10 to read as follows:

                        "SECTION 10.

  1-11    The chairman of the board of commissioners shall receive a
  1-12    salary of $400.00 per month.  The remaining members of the
  1-13    board of commissioners shall receive a salary of $200.00
  1-14    per month.  The chairman and members of the board of
  1-15    commissioners shall be reimbursed for travel expenses
  1-16    incurred while in the discharge of their duties."

                         SECTION 2.

  1-17  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
  1-18  repealed.
