HB 809 LC 10 1241 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT 1- 1 To amend an Act creating the Magistrate Court of Rockdale 1- 2 County, approved March 13, 1978 (Ga. L. 1978, p. 3907), as 1- 3 amended, so as to provide that county law library fees shall 1- 4 be charged and collected in actions and cases in the 1- 5 magistrate court; to provide for related matters; to provide 1- 6 an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other 1- 7 purposes. 1- 8 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: SECTION 1. 1- 9 An Act creating the Magistrate Court of Rockdale County, 1-10 approved March 13, 1978 (Ga. L. 1978, p. 3907), as amended, 1-11 is amended by adding immediately after Section 2 a new 1-12 Section 2.1 to read as follows: 1-13 "SECTION 2.1. 1-14 Pursuant to the authority of Code Section 15-10-86 and 1-15 Chapter 15 of Title 36 of the O.C.G.A., law library fees 1-16 shall be charged and collected in each action or case in 1-17 the Magistrate Court of Rockdale County. The amount of 1-18 such fees shall be fixed by the chief judge of the 1-19 Superior Court of Rockdale County as provided for in Code 1-20 Section 36-15-9 of the O.C.G.A. Such fees shall be in 1-21 addition to all other legal costs." SECTION 2. 1-22 This Act shall become effective upon its approval by the 1-23 Governor or upon its becoming law without such approval. SECTION 3. 1-24 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are 1-25 repealed. -1- (Index)
