A RESOLUTION
1- 1 Commending Jack Logan and the band Liquor Cabinet; and for
1- 2 other purposes.
1- 3 WHEREAS, Jack Logan, of Winder, Georgia, has continued to
1- 4 garner critical acclaim as a songwriter and musician; and
1- 5 WHEREAS, Jack Logan, with his band, Liquor Cabinet, recently
1- 6 released his second album, Mood Elevator, to tremendous
1- 7 praise from such respected publications as Rolling Stone and
1- 8 Billboard magazines; and
1- 9 WHEREAS, for years Mr. Logan and Liquor Cabinet produced
1-10 their music in obscurity, written and performed only for the
1-11 enjoyment of themselves and their circle of friends, until a
1-12 record producer discovered their huge cache of unreleased
1-13 songs and released Bulk, their debut album, which displayed
1-14 the group's talents for the appreciation of music lovers
1-15 nationwide; and
1-16 WHEREAS, the band, Liquor Cabinet, has contributed hugely to
1-17 the success of Mr. Logan's inimitable sound, and Liquor
1-18 Cabinet consists of Kelly Keneipp, Dave Philips, Eric Sales,
1-19 and Aaron Phillips; and
1-20 WHEREAS, Mr. Logan is also an accomplished visual artist,
1-21 and in addition to a widely praised body of cartooning work
1-22 he has produced the artwork for the covers of his albums as
1-23 well as for his concert posters; and
1-24 WHEREAS, Jack Logan and Liquor Cabinet have undertaken
1-25 touring around the country, routinely selling out venues and
1-26 earning enthusiastic reviews for energetic, spirited
1-27 performances; and
1-28 WHEREAS, maintaining the time honored tradition of
1-29 working-class rock and roll, Mr. Logan continues to work
1-30 each day at the Doraville Electric Motor Service as he
1-31 continues his prodigious songwriting output.
1-32 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF
1-33 REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Jack
1-34 Logan for his well-deserved success as a musician and that

2- 3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of
