                             A RESOLUTION

  1- 1  Recognizing and commending Marla Vickers; and for other
  1- 2  purposes.

  1- 3  WHEREAS, Marla Vickers of Clarke County has recently been
  1- 4  named as the recipient of a $1,500.00 1994 National 4-H
  1- 5  Scholarship for leadership; and

  1- 6  WHEREAS, this accomplishment clearly demonstrates the
  1- 7  knowledge, skills, dedication, and hard work of this 4-H
  1- 8  member and the support, encouragement, and opportunities
  1- 9  offered by this member's family and the men and women who
  1-10  work with 4-H; and

  1-11  WHEREAS, this National 4-H Scholarship is the result of
  1-12  successful competition at the county, district, state, and
  1-13  national levels; and

  1-14  WHEREAS, this 4-H member serves as an outstanding
  1-15  representative of the young people of Georgia and has earned
  1-16  the respect of the citizens of this state.

  1-17  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF
  1-18  REPRESENTATIVES that Marla Vickers is recognized and
  1-19  commended for her many exceptional accomplishments as a 4-H
  1-20  member and for being selected as a recipient of the 1994
  1-21  National 4-H Scholarship for leadership.

  1-22  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of
  1-23  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
  1-24  appropriate copy of this resolution to Marla Vickers.
