                             A RESOLUTION

  1- 1  Commending Robert F. Logan; and for other purposes.

  1- 2  WHEREAS, Robert F. Logan is a man of magnanimous strengths
  1- 3  with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity,
  1- 4  intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and

  1- 5  WHEREAS, he is a selfless humanitarian who has devoted
  1- 6  untold hours of his time, talents, and energy toward
  1- 7  improving the life in his community; and

  1- 8  WHEREAS, he is an honored and active member of his community
  1- 9  and has served with distinction as chairman of the board of
  1-10  the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, president of the Canton
  1-11  Lions Club, president of the North Cherokee Unit of the
  1-12  American Cancer Society, and chairman of the Canton Tree
  1-13  City Commission; and

  1-14  WHEREAS, he has been active in Canton First United Methodist
  1-15  Church as chairman of the administrative council and the
  1-16  chapel building committee; and

  1-17  WHEREAS, in all these endeavors he has been ably assisted by
  1-18  his lovely wife, Margaret; and

  1-19  WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this
  1-20  ambassador of good will and pillar of his community be
  1-21  appropriately recognized.

  1-22  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF
  1-23  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body heartily
  1-24  commend Robert F. Logan for his outstanding service to his
  1-25  community and state.

  1-26  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of
  1-27  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
  1-28  appropriate copy of this resolution to Robert F. Logan.
