A RESOLUTION
1- 1 Commending Sara Elisabeth Crews; and for other purposes.
1- 2 WHEREAS, Sara Elisabeth Crews is the eldest daughter of Ron
1- 3 and Jonda Crews; and
1- 4 WHEREAS, Sara gave her heart to Jesus Christ at an early age
1- 5 and has been active in Sunday School, youth group, music,
1- 6 drama, and dance in giving expression to her faith and
1- 7 spiritual life; and
1- 8 WHEREAS, Sara has participated in two mission outreaches to
1- 9 share her faith in Christ; and
1-10 WHEREAS, Sara has taken courageous stands for her faith at
1-11 school and among her peers; and
1-12 WHEREAS, Sara has maintained an excellent academic record,
1-13 graduating from Meadowcreek High School with a 4.0 grade
1-14 point average, while participating in chorus, drama, and
1-15 serving as the statistician for the Mustang baseball team;
1-16 and
1-17 WHEREAS, Sara has brought much joy to her parents not just
1-18 because of her many accomplishments but because of who she
1-19 is; and
1-20 WHEREAS, Sara is indeed a "princess" and the daughter of the
1-21 King of the Kings; and
1-22 WHEREAS, scripture commands us to honor those to whom it is
1-23 due.
1-24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF
1-25 REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Sara
1-26 Elisabeth Crews and recognize her as an outstanding young
1-27 lady.
1-28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of
1-29 Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
1-30 appropriate copy of this resolution to Sara Elisabeth Crews.
