                             A RESOLUTION

  1- 1  Recognizing and commending Jennifer Richardson; and for
  1- 2  other purposes.

  1- 3  WHEREAS, Jennifer Richardson received the highest award
  1- 4  bestowed upon a member of the Girl Scouts of America in
  1- 5  attaining the prestigious Gold Award in 1994; and

  1- 6  WHEREAS, the Gold Award is the premier recognition accorded
  1- 7  to a Senior Girl Scout, and the achievement of this
  1- 8  distinguished position denotes exceptional proficiency and
  1- 9  personal development in this very special program for young
  1-10  women; and

  1-11  WHEREAS, she has consistently demonstrated the superior
  1-12  ability, interest, leadership, and commitment to community
  1-13  service ideally expected of a Senior Girl Scout; and

  1-14  WHEREAS, she has truly exhibited an understanding of the
  1-15  scouting principles of honesty, reliability, and fairness
  1-16  and has conducted herself in a manner becoming a girl scout
  1-17  of the highest rank; and

  1-18  WHEREAS, she ably completed the demanding goals of this
  1-19  scouting program and has been recognized by the Northwest
  1-20  Georgia Girl Scout Council for her exemplary performance and
  1-21  leadership throughout this arduous program; and

  1-22  WHEREAS, it is only fitting that the excellent
  1-23  accomplishments and unselfish motivation of this
  1-24  distinguished Senior Girl Scout be properly acknowledged and
  1-25  honored.

  1-26  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF
  1-27  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and
  1-28  commend Jennifer Richardson on her exceptional achievement
  1-29  in being presented the Girl Scout Gold Award and extend to
  1-30  her their best wishes in her future pursuits.

  1-31  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of
  1-32  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
  1-33  appropriate copy of this resolution to Jennifer Richardson.
