                             A RESOLUTION

  1- 1  Amending a resolution creating the Georgia Future
  1- 2  Communities Commission, approved April 11, 1995 (Ga. L.
  1- 3  1995, p. 507), so as to change the date on which the
  1- 4  commission shall be abolished; to provide for related
  1- 5  matters; and for other purposes.

  1- 6  WHEREAS, the Georgia Future Communities Commission is
  1- 7  engaged in valuable and important work pursuant to the above
  1- 8  resolution; and

  1- 9  WHEREAS, it will be beneficial to the purposes of the
  1-10  commission to extend the termination date originally fixed
  1-11  for the commission by said resolution.

  1-12  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
  1-13  GEORGIA:

                         SECTION 1.

  1-14  A resolution creating the Georgia Future Communities
  1-15  Commission, approved April 11, 1995 (Ga. L. 1995, p. 507),
  1-16  is amended by striking Section 6 and inserting in its place
  1-17  a new section to read as follows:

                        "SECTION 6.

  1-18    The commission shall be abolished on December 31, 1997."
