A BILL to amend Part 9 of Article 6 of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to grants for educational programs, so as to create the "Academic Advancement Act"; to provide for state grants to be awarded to public elementary and secondary schools to assist such schools with high concentration of at-risk students to plan and implement a school improvement program; and for other purposes.
