First Reader Summary

A BILL to amend Code Section 33-6-5 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to unfair and deceptive practices in the business of insurance, so as to provide that in cases where classification, premiums, or rates are not required to be filed with and approved by the Commissioner, the premiums and charges shall not be in excess of or less than those specified in the policy; and for other purposes.
