First Reader Summary

A bill to amend Chapter 2 of Title 42 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Board and Department of Corrections, so as to authorize the creation of a special school district for school age youth; to provide that the commissioner of corrections shall serve as superintendent of schools for such special school district; to provide that the Board of Corrections shall serve as the board of education and shall establish education standards.
