                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend Code Section 46-4-160 of the Official Code of 
  1- 2  Georgia Annotated, relating to commission authority 
  1- 3  regarding gas marketers, so as to provide for places of 
  1- 4  business of marketers open to retail customers for bill 
  1- 5  paying; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 6       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1- 7                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1- 8  Code Section 46-4-160 of the Official Code of Georgia 
  1- 9  Annotated, relating to commission authority regarding gas 
  1-10  marketers, is amended by adding after subsection (c) thereof 
  1-11  the following subsection: 
 
  1-12    "(c.1) A marketer shall maintain in each county within the 
  1-13    territory covered by the marketer's certificate of 
  1-14    authority at least one place of business open to the 
  1-15    public during normal business hours where retail customers 
  1-16    may make bill payments for commodity sales service and 
  1-17    distribution service." 
 
  1-18                           SECTION 2. 
 
  1-19  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
