                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend Code Section 48-4-79 of the Official Code of 
  1- 2  Georgia Annotated, relating to judicial hearings on certain 
  1- 3  in rem tax foreclosures, so as to change certain provisions 
  1- 4  regarding the contents of the order of a superior court in 
  1- 5  connection with such a foreclosure; to repeal conflicting 
  1- 6  laws; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 7       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1- 8                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1- 9  Code Section 48-4-79 of the Official Code of Georgia 
  1-10  Annotated, relating to judicial hearings on certain in rem 
  1-11  tax foreclosures, is amended by striking paragraphs (3) and 
  1-12  (4) of subsection (b) and inserting in their place new 
  1-13  paragraphs (3) and (4) to read as follows: 
 
  1-14      "(3) The holders of easements Easements and 
  1-15      rights-of-way described in Code Section 48-3-9 rights of 
  1-16      way of holders who are not interested parties under 
  1-17      subparagraph (C) of paragraph (1) of Code Section 
  1-18      48-4-77; and 
 
  1-19      (4) The holders of the benefits Benefits or burdens of 
  1-20      any real covenants filed of record as of the date of 
  1-21      filing of the petition." 
 
  1-22                           SECTION 2. 
 
  1-23  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
