                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend Code Section 46-5-27 of the Official Code of 
  1- 2  Georgia Annotated, relating to telephone solicitations to 
  1- 3  residences and related matters, so as to provide that no 
  1- 4  person shall record any portion of a telephone solicitation 
  1- 5  call to a residential subscriber; to repeal conflicting 
  1- 6  laws; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 7       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1- 8                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1- 9  Code Section 46-5-27 of the Official Code of Georgia 
  1-10  Annotated, relating to telephone solicitations to residences 
  1-11  and related matters, is amended by inserting at the end of 
  1-12  subsection (g) the following: 
 
  1-13        "(3) No person making a telephone solicitation to the 
  1-14        telephone line of any residential subscriber shall 
  1-15        record any portion of such call." 
 
  1-16                           SECTION 2. 
 
  1-17  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
