                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Commending the West Georgia Millennial Celebration; and for 
  1- 2  other purposes. 
 
  1- 3  WHEREAS, the West Georgia Millennial Celebration is 
  1- 4  scheduled for October 6, 7, and 8, 1999; and 
 
  1- 5  WHEREAS, the main focus of the event is that God will enter 
  1- 6  the hearts of ministers to set aside the denominational 
  1- 7  barriers that have caused separation and to unite Christians 
  1- 8  together; and 
 
  1- 9  WHEREAS, the participants will pray for revival so that the 
  1-10  hearts and lives of Christians will be forever changed, so 
  1-11  that, with a unified body and a change of heart, Christians 
  1-12  can better reach out to the lost; and 
 
  1-13  WHEREAS, the keynote speaker for the event will be Dr. Ike 
  1-14  Reighard, pastor of North Star Church in Atlanta well known 
  1-15  for his crusade outreach, and the evenings will offer 
  1-16  special music combined with well-known testimonial speakers, 
  1-17  and one night will emphasize youth with special music and 
  1-18  speakers. 
 
  1-19  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-20  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the 
  1-21  West Georgia Millennial Celebration and offer prayers for 
  1-22  its success. 
 
  1-23  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-24  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an 
  1-25  appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Ned Fowler, 
  1-26  chairperson of the steering committee of the West Georgia
