                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Calling a joint session of the House of Representatives and 
  1- 2  the Senate for the purpose of hearing a message from the 
  1- 3  Chief Justice of the Supreme Court; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 4  BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA that the 
  1- 5  Honorable Robert Benham, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, 
  1- 6  is hereby invited to address a joint session of the House of 
  1- 7  Representatives and the Senate at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, 
  1- 8  January 14, 1999, in the hall of the House of 
  1- 9  Representatives. 
 
  1-10  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a joint session of the House of 
  1-11  Representatives and the Senate be held in the hall of the 
  1-12  House of Representatives at 10:45 A.M. on the aforesaid date 
  1-13  for the purpose of hearing an address from Chief Justice 
  1-14  Benham. 
 
  1-15  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each other Justice of the 
  1-16  Supreme Court and each Judge of the Court of Appeals is 
  1-17  hereby invited to the hall of the House of Representatives 
  1-18  for the purpose of hearing the address from Chief Justice 
  1-19  Benham. 
 
  1-20  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House is 
  1-21  authorized and directed to transmit appropriate copies of 
  1-22  this resolution to the Chief Justice, to each other Justice 
  1-23  of the Supreme Court, and to each Judge of the Court of
