                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Expressing regret at the passing of Danny Brown; and for 
  1- 2  other purposes. 
 
  1- 3  WHEREAS, the State of Georgia recently lost one of its 
  1- 4  finest and most distinguished citizens with the untimely 
  1- 5  passing of Danny Brown; and 
 
  1- 6  WHEREAS, a native of Savannah, Georgia, Mr. Brown worked for 
  1- 7  the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education before 
  1- 8  leaving to work for St. Joseph's Hospital in 1990, and when 
  1- 9  that hospital joined forces with Candler Hospital in 1997, 
  1-10  he rose to the position of vice president of human 
  1-11  resources; and 
 
  1-12  WHEREAS, he was actively involved in the civic, religious, 
  1-13  and charitable affairs of his community and gave 
  1-14  unstintingly and unceasingly of his time, talents, and 
  1-15  energy to improve the quality of life in Chatham County; and 
 
  1-16  WHEREAS, his unparalleled organizational and leadership 
  1-17  talents, his remarkable patience and diplomacy, his keen 
  1-18  sense of vision, and his acute sensitivity to the needs of 
  1-19  the citizens of his community earned him the respect and 
  1-20  admiration of his colleagues and associates; and 
 
  1-21  WHEREAS, the untimely passing of this generous, unselfish, 
  1-22  and devoted family man leaves an unfillable void in the 
  1-23  hearts and lives of his family and friends; and 
 
  1-24  WHEREAS, he is survived by his wife, Connie P. Brown, two 
  1-25  daughters, Cara E. and Christon P. Brown, and numerous other 
  1-26  family and friends. 
 
  1-27  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-28  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body express their 
  1-29  deepest and most sincere regret at the passing of Danny 
  1-30  Brown and convey condolences to his grieving family and 
  1-31  friends. 
 
  1-32  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-33  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an 
  1-34  appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of Danny 
  1-35  Brown.
