                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend Article 4 of Chapter 18 of Title 50 of the Official 
  1- 2  Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to inspection of public 
  1- 3  records, so as to change certain exceptions to such 
  1- 4  inspections; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other 
  1- 5  purposes. 
 
  1- 6       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1- 7                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1- 8  Article 4 of Chapter 18 of Title 50 of the Official Code of 
  1- 9  Georgia Annotated, relating to inspection of public records, 
  1-10  is amended by adding between paragraphs (11) and (12) of 
  1-11  subsection (a) of Code Section 50-18-72, relating to 
  1-12  exceptions to disclosure of public records, a new paragraph 
  1-13  to read as follows: 
 
  1-14      "(11.1) Personnel files containing personal data 
  1-15      profiling an individual and containing such information 
  1-16      as date or place of birth, names of parents, residence 
  1-17      from time to time, school records, results of 
  1-18      examinations or evaluations of the individual's work 
  1-19      performance, address or telephone number, social 
  1-20      security number, or insurance or medical information;". 
 
  1-21                           SECTION 2. 
 
  1-22  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
