                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend Code Section 25-12-2 of the Official Code of 
  1- 2  Georgia Annotated, relating to the definitions applicable to 
  1- 3  the regulation of fire extinguishers and suppression 
  1- 4  systems, so as to change the definition of the term "firm"; 
  1- 5  to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 6       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1- 7                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1- 8  Code Section 25-12-2 of the Official Code of Georgia 
  1- 9  Annotated, relating to the definitions applicable to the 
  1-10  regulation of fire extinguishers and suppression systems, is 
  1-11  amended by striking in its entirety paragraph (4) and 
  1-12  inserting in lieu thereof a new paragraph (4) to read as 
  1-13  follows: 
 
  1-14      "(4) 'Firm' means any business, person, partnership, 
  1-15      organization, association, corporation, contractor, 
  1-16      subcontractor, or individual." 
 
  1-17                           SECTION 2. 
 
  1-18  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
