                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend an Act creating the Cherokee County Parks and 
  1- 2  Recreation Authority, approved April 5, 1995 (Ga. L. 1995, 
  1- 3  p. 4223), as amended, so as to change certain provisions 
  1- 4  regarding repayment of indebtedness and termination of the 
  1- 5  authority; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other 
  1- 6  purposes. 
 
  1- 7       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1- 8                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1- 9  An Act creating the Cherokee County Parks and Recreation 
  1-10  Authority, approved April 5, 1995 (Ga. L. 1995, p. 4223), as 
  1-11  amended, is amended by striking Section 24 and inserting in 
  1-12  its place a new Section 24 to read as follows: 
 
 
 
  1-13    (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act to the 
  1-14    contrary, any bonded indebtedness whatsoever incurred by 
  1-15    or on behalf of the authority must be repaid in full not 
  1-16    later than December 31, 2000. 
 
  1-17    (b) The Act shall stand repealed in its entirety on 
  1-18    December 31, 2010." 
 
  1-19                           SECTION 2. 
 
  1-20  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are 
  1-21  repealed.
