                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Commending Trayvis Manuel and inviting him to appear before 
  1- 2  the House of Representatives; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 3  WHEREAS, at the 1998 State 4-H Council Meeting, Trayvis 
  1- 4  Manuel of Bleckley County was elected 1998-1999 State 4-H 
  1- 5  President, representing over 173,000 Georgia 4-H members; 
  1- 6  and 
 
  1- 7  WHEREAS, this outstanding accomplishment clearly 
  1- 8  demonstrates the dedication and hard work of the member and 
  1- 9  the support, encouragement, and opportunities offered by the 
  1-10  member's family and the men and women who work with 4-H; and 
 
  1-11  WHEREAS, this honor recognizes the leadership abilities 
  1-12  which he has clearly demonstrated; and 
 
  1-13  WHEREAS, this 4-H member serves as an outstanding 
  1-14  representative of the 4-H Club organization and has earned 
  1-15  the respect of fellow 4-H members; and 
 
  1-16  WHEREAS, he is the recipient of the prestigious Dean's 
  1-17  Project Award in Leadership. 
 
  1-18  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-19  REPRESENTATIVES that Trayvis Manuel is recognized and 
  1-20  commended for his election as 1998-1999 State 4-H President 
  1-21  and for the exemplary manner in which he is performing his 
  1-22  duties as president. 
 
  1-23  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Trayvis Manuel is invited to 
  1-24  appear before the House of Representatives on Tuesday, 
  1-25  February 2, 1999, at a time to be designated by the Speaker 
  1-26  of the House of Representatives. 
 
  1-27  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-28  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
