                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Commending Luke Couch; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 2  WHEREAS, at the 1998 Regional 4-H Project Achievement 
  1- 3  Meeting, Luke Couch of Dooly County was elected 1998-1999 
  1- 4  West Central District 4-H President, representing 4-H 
  1- 5  members in 20 west central Georgia counties; and 
 
  1- 6  WHEREAS, this outstanding accomplishment clearly 
  1- 7  demonstrates the dedication and hard work of this 4-H member 
  1- 8  and the support, encouragement, and opportunities offered by 
  1- 9  the member's family and the men and women who work with 4-H; 
  1-10  and 
 
  1-11  WHEREAS, this honor was bestowed by 4-H members in 
  1-12  recognition of the leadership abilities which this dedicated 
  1-13  4-H District President has clearly demonstrated; and 
 
  1-14  WHEREAS, this 4-H member serves as an outstanding 
  1-15  representative of the 4-H Club organization and has earned 
  1-16  the respect of fellow 4-H members. 
 
  1-17  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-18  REPRESENTATIVES that Luke Couch is recognized and commended 
  1-19  for his election as 1998-1999 West Central District 4-H 
  1-20  President and for the exemplary manner in which he is 
  1-21  performing his duties as president. 
 
  1-22  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-23  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
