                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Commending Mr. and Mrs. Victor Brown; and for other 
  1- 2  purposes. 
 
  1- 3  WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Brown have long been regarded 
  1- 4  as one of the most renowned couples in their community 
  1- 5  through their active involvement in the economic, social, 
  1- 6  and civic life of their county; and 
 
  1- 7  WHEREAS, this native son and native daughter of Butts 
  1- 8  County, Georgia, were joined in holy wedlock on October 15, 
  1- 9  1949; and 
 
  1-10  WHEREAS, this couple stands as a proud and shining example 
  1-11  of enduring love and affection to their family; and 
 
  1-12  WHEREAS, the devotion, patience, and understanding that they 
  1-13  have demonstrated have provided the foundation and framework 
  1-14  of success in which all of their family members have 
  1-15  developed and flourished; and 
 
  1-16  WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the 
  1-17  selfless deeds and loving devotion of these remarkable 
  1-18  people be appropriately recognized. 
 
  1-19  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-20  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Mr. 
  1-21  and Mrs. Victor Brown for their many decades of unyielding 
  1-22  strength and unparalleled inspiration on behalf of all of 
  1-23  their children, congratulate them upon the joyous occasion 
  1-24  of their fiftieth wedding anniversary, and extend to them 
  1-25  best wishes for continued health and happiness. 
 
  1-26  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-27  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an 
  1-28  appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. and Mrs. Victor
