                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Congratulating Rudolph V. Quarterman; and for other 
  1- 2  purposes. 
 
  1- 3  WHEREAS, Rudolph V. Quarterman was recently named 1999 Small 
  1- 4  Business Supporter of the Year by the Small Business 
  1- 5  Institute of Savannah Tech; and 
 
  1- 6  WHEREAS, under his guiding hand, many outstanding Savannah 
  1- 7  companies grew from humble beginnings into leading 
  1- 8  businesses due to his instrumental role in helping secure 
  1- 9  SBA loans; and 
 
  1-10  WHEREAS, this remarkable citizen has established a glowing 
  1-11  reputation of renown throughout Georgia for his unwavering 
  1-12  support of local minority small businesses; and 
 
  1-13  WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the 
  1-14  outstanding accomplishments of this amazing person be 
  1-15  appropriately recognized. 
 
  1-16  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-17  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate 
  1-18  Rudolph V. Quarterman on the occasion of his being named 
  1-19  1999 Small Business Supporter of the Year, commend him for 
  1-20  his many outstanding contributions on behalf of the citizens 
  1-21  of Georgia, and extend to him their best wishes for 
  1-22  continued business growth, development, and success in the 
  1-23  future. 
 
  1-24  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-25  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an 
  1-26  appropriate copy of this resolution to Rudolph V.
