                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Commending Henrietta Robinson; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 2  WHEREAS, Henrietta Robinson retired on December 31, 1999, 
  1- 3  after being a faithful employee of Fulton County for 30 
  1- 4  years, during which time she gave freely of herself, her 
  1- 5  time, and her knowledge to members of the bench and the bar, 
  1- 6  as well as to the general public; and 
 
  1- 7  WHEREAS, it is no exaggeration to say that Henrietta 
  1- 8  Robinson knows Code Section 44-7-1 of the O.C.G.A., et seq., 
  1- 9  the landlord/tenant section of Georgia's official Code, as 
  1-10  well as, if not better than, most of the attorneys and 
  1-11  judges with whom she worked for the last 20 years as 
  1-12  supervisor of the dispossessory division of the state and 
  1-13  magistrate courts of Fulton County; and 
 
  1-14  WHEREAS, she founded and started the Landlord/Tenant 
  1-15  Mediation Project, a successful alternative dispute 
  1-16  resolution program sponsored by the Fulton County 
  1-17  Alternative Dispute Resolution Board of Trustees; and 
 
  1-18  WHEREAS, Mrs. Robinson was recognized by the South Fulton 
  1-19  Bar Association as Court Employee of the Year and was 
  1-20  honored by Fulton County and her co-workers as one of four 
  1-21  Employees of the Year in the state and magistrate courts; 
  1-22  and 
 
  1-23  WHEREAS, she is largely responsible for the numerous printed 
  1-24  forms and instruction sheets currently in use in the Fulton 
  1-25  County state and magistrate courts; and 
 
  1-26  WHEREAS, Henrietta Robinson has been married for 31 years to 
  1-27  Charlie Robinson and is the proud and loving mother of a 
  1-28  daughter, Monica, and a son, Corey; and she is a loving and 
  1-29  doting grandmother to her grandson, Joshua; and 
 
  1-30  WHEREAS, she has been a faithful and contributing member of 
  1-31  the Fellowship of Faith Church in East Point, Georgia, for 
  1-32  over 20 years and has taught Sunday school for the church 
  1-33  for most of that time; and 
 
  1-34  WHEREAS, Henrietta Robinson is an avid traveler, a 
  1-35  connoisseur of fine food, and a gourmet cook; and

  2- 1  WHEREAS, she is beloved by her family and friends for her 
  2- 2  loyalty, her sense of humor, her adventurousness, and her 
  2- 3  sage advice; and 
 
  2- 4  WHEREAS, Henrietta Robinson will be dearly remembered as a 
  2- 5  wonderfully wise, modest, and discreet teacher and mentor to 
  2- 6  anyone needing to learn and willing to be taught the 
  2- 7  particularities and peculiarities of landlord/tenant law, 
  2- 8  whether judges or lawyers, landlords or tenants; and 
 
  2- 9  WHEREAS, in her church, in the community, and in the court 
  2-10  system, Henrietta Robinson is the epitome of integrity, 
  2-11  loving, caring, and giving and lives every day by her 
  2-12  self-proclaimed motto of "give to the needy and not to the 
  2-13  greedy." 
 
  2-14  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  2-15  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend 
  2-16  Henrietta Robinson for 30 years of exemplary public service 
  2-17  in Fulton County, express their sincere appreciation for her 
  2-18  contributions, and extend their best wishes for continued 
  2-19  success and happiness. 
 
  2-20  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  2-21  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
