                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Congratulating Evelyn Muzik; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 2  WHEREAS, Evelyn Muzik was recently named 1999 Advocate of 
  1- 3  the Year Award winner by the Small Business Institute of 
  1- 4  Savannah Tech; and 
 
  1- 5  WHEREAS, under her guiding hand, many outstanding Savannah 
  1- 6  companies have grown from humble beginnings to become 
  1- 7  leading businesses in this state due to her instrumental 
  1- 8  role as a tireless spokeswoman helping to further the 
  1- 9  understanding and operation of small businesses; and 
 
  1-10  WHEREAS, this remarkable citizen has established a glowing 
  1-11  reputation of renown throughout Georgia for her ability to 
  1-12  accommodate changes in the small business development 
  1-13  industry, and continues to meet the diversified needs of her 
  1-14  customers with friendly and professional service; and 
 
  1-15  WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the 
  1-16  outstanding accomplishments of this amazing person be 
  1-17  appropriately recognized. 
 
  1-18  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-19  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate 
  1-20  Evelyn Muzik on the occasion of her being named 1999 
  1-21  Advocate of the Year Award winner, commend her for her many 
  1-22  outstanding contributions on behalf of the citizens of 
  1-23  Georgia, and extend to her their best wishes for continued 
  1-24  success in the future. 
 
  1-25  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-26  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
