                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Commending the St. Andrew's School Saints football team; and 
  1- 2  for other purposes. 
 
  1- 3  WHEREAS, the St. Andrew's School Saints football team has 
  1- 4  established and maintained a proud tradition of excellence 
  1- 5  in boys' football with equal emphasis on character and 
  1- 6  academics; and 
 
  1- 7  WHEREAS, this superlative team has completed another 
  1- 8  ultrasuccessful season of football competition by posting an 
  1- 9  outstanding record of 12 wins and only one loss; and 
 
  1-10  WHEREAS, the Saints marched through their opponents this 
  1-11  season, advanced to the state finals for the third 
  1-12  consecutive year, as a fitting finale to their remarkable 
  1-13  1998 campaign, and the team captured the SCISA AA State 
  1-14  Football Championship in a dramatic 27-19 win over the 
  1-15  Calhoun Academy Cavaliers; and 
 
  1-16  WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team as it took 
  1-17  care of business is a clear indication of the outstanding 
  1-18  athletic ability, the dedication and hard work, and the 
  1-19  unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the team, 
  1-20  their superb offensive and defensive talents, and the astute 
  1-21  direction of Head Coach David Boylston; and 
 
  1-22  WHEREAS, this magnificent team performed with precision 
  1-23  during the season and earned its well deserved reputation 
  1-24  for high standards of athletic achievement, the quality of 
  1-25  its play, and the stiff competition which it presented its 
  1-26  opponents. 
 
  1-27  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-28  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the 
  1-29  St. Andrew's School Saints football team for its 
  1-30  unparalleled achievements and extend their sincerest best 
  1-31  wishes for continued success in the future. 
 
  1-32  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-33  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an 
  1-34  appropriate copy of this resolution to Head Coach David
