                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Calling a joint session of the House of Representatives and 
  1- 2  the Senate for the purpose of hearing a message from the 
  1- 3  Governor; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 4  BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA that His 
  1- 5  Excellency, Governor Roy E. Barnes, is hereby invited to 
  1- 6  address a joint session of the House of Representatives and 
  1- 7  the Senate at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 13, 1999, in 
  1- 8  the hall of the House of Representatives. 
 
  1- 9  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a joint session of the House of 
  1-10  Representatives and the Senate be held in the hall of the 
  1-11  House of Representatives at 10:45 A.M. on the aforesaid date 
  1-12  for the purpose of hearing an address from His Excellency, 
  1-13  the Governor. 
 
  1-14  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a committee of fourteen, seven 
  1-15  from the House to be named by the Speaker and seven from the 
  1-16  Senate to be named by the President, be appointed to escort 
  1-17  His Excellency, the Governor, to the hall of the House of
