                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Commending Dr. Carol E. Dixon and KAINOS International 
  1- 2  Association; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 3  WHEREAS, Dr. Carol E. Dixon is the chief executive officer 
  1- 4  of KAINOS International Association, a nonprofit 
  1- 5  organization dedicated to character development that she 
  1- 6  founded in 1994; and 
 
  1- 7  WHEREAS, she has a background in education and has received 
  1- 8  intensive ministerial training which she shares at revivals 
  1- 9  to encourage individuals to seek wholeness in mind, body, 
  1-10  and spirit and achieve wholesome lives; and 
 
  1-11  WHEREAS, she conducts KAINOS workshops and social activities 
  1-12  for children and teenagers designed to address their 
  1-13  emotional, physical, and intellectual needs and development; 
  1-14  and 
 
  1-15  WHEREAS, conferences and seminars are sponsored by KAINOS 
  1-16  for adults to provide insight and understanding of human 
  1-17  behavior and to practice techniques that instill a positive 
  1-18  sense of self; and 
 
  1-19  WHEREAS, the KAINOS Bible Institute offers adult education 
  1-20  courses designed to provide study and practice in the 
  1-21  ministry and leadership skills for persons who serve as 
  1-22  ministers; and 
 
  1-23  WHEREAS, Dr. Carol E. Dixon has been recognized by public 
  1-24  and private organizations and leaders for her talent and 
  1-25  dedication, and her visit to Atlanta this spring will be 
  1-26  welcomed by her many friends and supporters. 
 
  1-27  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-28  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Dr. 
  1-29  Carol E. Dixon and KAINOS International Association and 
  1-30  convey to her their best wishes. 
 
  1-31  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-32  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
