                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Commending Danny Richardson; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 2  WHEREAS, Danny Richardson was named the recipient of the 
  1- 3  Contractor of the Year award for 1999, presented by the 
  1- 4  Plumbing & Mechanical Association of Georgia; and 
 
  1- 5  WHEREAS, Mr. Richardson has served the Plumbing & Mechanical 
  1- 6  Association of Georgia for 15 years, giving his time and 
  1- 7  financial support; and he has served as State President, 
  1- 8  Secretary/Treasurer, and Chairman of the Legislative 
  1- 9  Committee; and 
 
  1-10  WHEREAS, Mr. Richardson has served the National 
  1-11  Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association for 15 
  1-12  years, where he played an active role in legislative issues; 
  1-13  and 
 
  1-14  WHEREAS, Mr. Richardson has been working in the plumbing 
  1-15  industry for more than 30 years, working for his father and 
  1-16  becoming President of Richardson Plumbing in 1973, building 
  1-17  the business into a very successful family business with a 
  1-18  strong commitment to provide his customers the best possible 
  1-19  plumbing work and the highest level of customer service and 
  1-20  satisfaction; and 
 
  1-21  WHEREAS, Mr. Richardson served as a member of the Army 
  1-22  Reserve and was honorably discharged at the end of 1972; and 
 
  1-23  WHEREAS, Mr. Richardson has faithfully served as a delegate 
  1-24  to the Northeast Georgia Methodist Conference on several 
  1-25  occasions, has served as Chairman of the Trustees in his 
  1-26  Methodist church, and is a loving and dedicated family man 
  1-27  who has passed the values of hard work and commitment to 
  1-28  excellence to his family. 
 
  1-29  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-30  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Mr. 
  1-31  Danny Richardson for his many years of dedicated service to 
  1-32  the plumbing industry of Georgia and especially for being 
  1-33  named the recipient of the Plumbing & Mechanical Association 
  1-34  of Georgia's "Contractor of the Year" award for 1999.

  2- 1  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  2- 2  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
