                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend Code Section 27-4-130.1 of the Official Code of 
  1- 2  Georgia Annotated, relating to open seasons, creel and 
  1- 3  possession limits, and minimum size limits for certain 
  1- 4  finfish species, so as to expand the possession limit on 
  1- 5  whiting for certain vessels; to repeal conflicting laws; and 
  1- 6  for other purposes. 
 
  1- 7       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1- 8                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1- 9  Code Section 27-4-130.1 of the Official Code of Georgia 
  1-10  Annotated, relating to open seasons, creel and possession 
  1-11  limits, and minimum size limits for certain finfish species, 
  1-12  is amended by striking in its entirety subsection (c), and 
  1-13  inserting in lieu thereof the following: 
 
  1-14      "(c)(1) It shall be unlawful to take the following 
  1-15      salt-water finfish species at any time except during the 
  1-16      open seasons so established for such species or to take 
  1-17      or possess the following salt-water finfish species 
  1-18      except in accordance with the creel and possession 
  1-19      limits and minimum sizes so established for such 
  1-20      species:

  2-15      and a bycatch reduction device." 
 
  2-16                           SECTION 2. 
 
  2-17  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
