                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Recognizing and commending Kari Cope; and for other 
  1- 2  purposes. 
 
  1- 3  WHEREAS, Kari Cope of Burke County was recently recognized 
  1- 4  as a Teen III Winner at the 1999 State 4-H Congress; and 
 
  1- 5  WHEREAS, this is the highest award at the state level in the 
  1- 6  Teen Leadership Project; and 
 
  1- 7  WHEREAS, she also attended the 1999 National 4-H Conference, 
  1- 8  where she served as an outstanding representative of Georgia 
  1- 9  4-H members; and 
 
  1-10  WHEREAS, the leadership skills developed by this dedicated 
  1-11  4-H member will be of immense value to the member in future 
  1-12  endeavors and will be a valuable asset in the development of 
  1-13  society and the progress of the State of Georgia and its 
  1-14  citizens; and 
 
  1-15  WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Kari Cope are the result of 
  1-16  the determination, ability, and hard work of this 4-H member 
  1-17  and the encouragement of her family and the men and women 
  1-18  who work with 4-H throughout this state. 
 
  1-19  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the 
  1-20  members of this body recognize and commend Kari Cope for her 
  1-21  selection as a Teen III Winner at the 1999 State 4-H 
  1-22  Congress. 
 
  1-23  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is 
  1-24  authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of
