A BILL to amend Code Section 16-12-171 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to prohibited acts regarding the sale of or distribution to minors of cigarettes and tobacco related objects, so as to make it unlawful for any minor to possess any cigarettes or tobacco related objects; to provide for misdemeanor criminal penalties for a minor who possesses or purchases cigarettes or tobacco related objects or misrepresents his or her age or identity; and for other purposes.
