A BILL to amend Article 2 of Chapter 13 of Title 17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the "Uniform Criminal Extradition Act," so as to provide for an administrative change to allow the commissioner of the Department of Corrections or his or her designee to sign and present written application for a requisition for the return of a person who has been convicted of a crime in this state and who has escaped from confinement; and for other purposes.
