A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

To amend Code Section 40-6-315 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to headgear and eye-protective devices for motorcycle riders, so as to provide that a violation of said Code section shall not be a moving traffic violation; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
Code Section 40-6-315 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to headgear and eye-protective devices for motorcycle riders, is amended by adding a new subsection (e) to read as follows:
"(e) A violation of this Code section shall not be a moving traffic violation for purposes of Code Section 40-5-57."

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
