A RESOLUTION

Commending Mr. Vince Frank Early; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Mr. Vince Frank Early has long been recognized by the citizens of Georgia for the vital role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, he has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of his community and state as evidenced dramatically by his many years of superlative service with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources beginning in Walker County on September 1, 1968, and continuing with his transfer to Floyd County in October, 1970, where he was heavily involved in the management of seven wildlife areas until his retirement on November 1, 1999; and

WHEREAS, his significant organizational and leadership talents, his remarkable patience and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of his community have earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and associates, having been awarded the Pride, Integrity and Guts Award in Floyd County; and

WHEREAS, he is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Mr. Vince Frank Early for his many years of efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the citizens of his community and state and extend to him, his wife, Raynell, and his son Vince F. Early, Jr., their most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Vince Frank Early.
