A RESOLUTION
Commending Adam Wade Baswell on becoming an Eagle Scout; and
for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Adam Wade Baswell, a
member of Troop 51 in Forsyth, Georgia, has received the Eagle Scout Award at an
Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony; and
WHEREAS,
since 1911, the Eagle Scout Award has been the symbol of the highest achievement
among the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, the
attainment of this rank indicates that a Scout has developed leadership ability,
self-confidence, mature judgment, and mental and physical capabilities that will
be of immense benefit throughout his life;
and
WHEREAS, in order for a Scout to reach this
goal, he must earn 21 merit badges, 11 of which are mandatory requirements for
the Eagle Scout program; and
WHEREAS, in achieving
Eagle Scout status, Adam Wade Baswell has brought honor to himself and to his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Baswell, and his
troop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE
OF REPRESENTATIVES that Adam Wade Baswell is recognized and commended on
attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and he is extended his
community´s
best wishes for success and happiness in future
endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of
the House of Representatives is authorized to transmit an appropriate copy of
this resolution to Adam Wade Baswell.
