Congratulating Charles and Sue Strickland; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Charles and Sue Strickland of Hamilton-Turner Inn were recently named 2000 Small Business Owner of the Year by the Small Business Institute of Savannah Tech; and

WHEREAS, under their guiding hands, this outstanding company has grown from its humble beginnings to become one of the leading businesses in this state; and

WHEREAS, this remarkable corporate citizen has established a glowing reputation of renown throughout Georgia for its ability to accommodate changes in the hospitality industry, and it continues to meet the diversified needs of its customers with friendly and professional service; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this amazing company owner be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate Charles and Sue Strickland of Hamilton-Turner Inn on the occasion of being named 2000 Small Business Owner of the Year, commend them for their many outstanding contributions on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, and extend to them their best wishes for continued corporate growth, development, and success in the future.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Charles and Sue Strickland, owners of Hamilton-Turner Inn.
