A RESOLUTION
Commending Nicholas Zingarelli; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, Nicholas Zingarelli of
Troop 555 has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the most distinguished order
conferred by the Boy Scouts of America;
and
WHEREAS, a candidate for this highest
award in scouting must complete a rigorous program of training and demonstrate
his proficiency in selected scouting techniques;
and
WHEREAS, only a rare proportion of the
young men in scouting meet the supreme standards of excellence demanded of
candidates for the Eagle rank; and
WHEREAS,
he has ably demonstrated his aptitude and competency in mastering the various
special skills imparted through the Boy Scout program, passed his Eagle board of
review, and completed a challenging community service project;
and
WHEREAS, he has truly exhibited a
commitment to the scouting principles of honesty, fairness, and service to
community and has consistently conducted himself in a manner becoming an Eagle
Scout; and
WHEREAS, it is most fitting to
recognize this outstanding young man for his
achievements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY
THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Nicholas
Zingarelli for his diligence, determination, and dedication in pursuing the
highest honor awarded by the Boy Scouts of America and congratulate him on
attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle
Scout.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk
of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
appropriate copy of this resolution to Nicholas
Zingarelli.
