purposes.
WHEREAS, the Department of Administrative

materials, equipment, and printing required by the departments, institutions, or

consultation regarding the most efficient and economical printing options
available to a state agency occur prior to contracting for print services;

WHEREAS, the Department of Administrative
Services can best provide proper counsel, direction, and review aimed at
minimizing the total costs for printing incurred by any state department,
agency, commission, or authority; and

agency, commission, or authority in distributing its reports on the
Internet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF
REPRESENTATIVES that this body urges the Department of Administrative Services
