A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Trey Cocus; and for
other purposes.
WHEREAS, Trey Cocus of
Lamar County is serving with distinction, dedication, and ability as the
2000-2001 State 4-H President; and
WHEREAS,
he is widely known for his leadership skills and for his ability to encourage
4-H members to work together to achieve their common goals;
and
WHEREAS, Trey Cocus is an outstanding
representative of more than 169,000 Georgia 4-H members;
and
WHEREAS, his leadership and hard work on
behalf of Georgia 4-H members have been recognized and he has gained the respect
of 4-H members and the men and women throughout Georgia who work with
4-H.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE
OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Trey
Cocus for his outstanding service and leadership as the 2000-2001 State 4-H
President.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the
Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
appropriate copy of this resolution to Trey
Cocus.
