Congratulating Eileen Price Wyatt; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Eileen Price Wyatt has been named the recipient of the 2001 M. L. Lamar Lifetime Achievement Award by the Austell Business Association in recognition of her contributions to the business community and her dedication and hard work; and

WHEREAS, under her guiding hand, Atlanta West Carpets, Inc. has grown from its humble beginnings in 1973 to become one of the leading businesses in the state, having been listed by the trade publication Focus in 1999 as one of the 100 top flooring companies in the United States; and

WHEREAS, Atlanta West Carpets, Inc. has 45 full-time employees and is expanding its operations to include a complete selection of all interior fittings for kitchens and baths in addition to its line of floor coverings; and

WHEREAS, this remarkable individual has established a glowing reputation of renown throughout Georgia for her abilities to meet the diversified needs of her customers with friendly and professional service; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this amazing individual be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate Eileen Price Wyatt on being named the recipient of the 2001 M. L. Lamar Lifetime Achievement Award, commend her for her many outstanding contributions on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, and extend to her their best wishes for continued success in the future.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Eileen Price Wyatt.
