A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Jamie Woodward; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Jamie Woodward, a distinguished 4_H member from Floyd County, was recognized as a Teen III Winner at the 2000 State 4_H Congress; and

WHEREAS, this is the highest award at the state level in the Teen Leadership Project; and

WHEREAS, the leadership skills developed by this dedicated 4_H member will be of immense value to the member in future endeavors and will be a valuable asset in the development of society and the progress of the State of Georgia and its citizens; and

WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Jamie Woodward are the result of the determination, ability, and hard work of this 4_H member and the encouragement of the member´s family and the men and women who work with 4_H throughout this state.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Jamie Woodward on becoming a Teen III Winner at the 2000 State 4_H Congress.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Jamie Woodward.
