A RESOLUTION

Commending Margaret B. "Buni" Dunn; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Margaret B. "Buni" Dunn is widely recognized throughout the state as the personification of excellence in education; and

WHEREAS, this highly respected speech pathology and audiology professional has served with honor and distinction as an assistant principal and principal in the Rockdale County school system; and

WHEREAS, she believes that her continuing role as an administrator is to act as an instrument of inspiration and enthusiasm to her pupils and to create a positive learning environment through the encouragement of competitive instincts in students and addressing the special needs of her students; and

WHEREAS, during her tenure as principal of Alpha School, she has maintained a steadfast commitment to excellence in both the students and the teachers in Rockdale County; and

WHEREAS, she is a shining example of the important impact that the efforts of individual classroom teachers and education professionals are making on the quality of education received by the children of this state and it is abundantly fitting and proper that her superlative accomplishments be recognized appropriately.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body heartily and gratefully commend Margaret B. "Buni" Dunn for her many years of sacrifice, foresight, accomplishment, and contributions on behalf of education in Georgia and for the positive influence she has had upon the lives and futures of countless young people in this state.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Margaret B. "Buni" Dunn.
