A RESOLUTION
Commending Farajo Elnamala; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, Farajo Elnamala was born on
December 3, 1959, to Mr. and Mrs. A. Elnamala in Haifa, Israel;
and
WHEREAS, Farajo spent eight years in the
Israeli Army; and
WHEREAS, he has traveled
extensively all over the world; and
WHEREAS, as the
eldest of three boys, he knows how important it is to be an example for his
brothers and others; and
WHEREAS, he volunteers his
time generously in service to his community and helps to raise money for sickle
cell anemia projects, the March of Dimes, and many other worthwhile programs;
and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper
that the unselfish contributions of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian
be appropriately recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that this body commends Farajo Elnamala
for his outstanding contributions as a citizen and recognizes his forty_second
birthday, December 3, 2001, as
"Farajo Elnamala
Day."
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Farajo
Elnamala.
