A RESOLUTION
Expressing regret at the passing of Esther V. Wright
Rollins; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Esther V.
Wright Rollins will long be remembered by her many friends, neighbors, and
family who valued her wonderful outlook on life and her active involvement in
her community; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Rollins was born
on September 15, 1924, in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of William and
Violet Wright; and
WHEREAS, she was raised in south
Baltimore where she received her secondary education in the Baltimore City
Public School System, and was employed for many years at the Hoshild Kohn
Company; and
WHEREAS, she lived in Atlanta from
1993 through 1998, and became a member of Christian Fellowship Community Church
where her memory is cherished by her family and friends, and she was
affectionately known as "Mother Rollins";
and
WHEREAS, she was a loving partner to Clarence
Rollins, Jr., who predeceased her, an endorsing mother to two sons and their
respective families, and her devotion to church and community endeared her to
all who knew this good woman.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body express
their regret at the passing of Esther V. Wright Rollins and convey their
sincerest sympathy to the members of her family.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of
Esther V. Wright Rollins.
